The International Consumer protection Enforcement Network (ICPEN) has launched a new website to coincide with World Consumer Rights Day, on 15 March 2010.

70% of websites investigated for mis-selling ringtones, wallpapers and other mobile phone services have been corrected or closed, following an 18 month EU consumer crackdown carried out by 27 Member States, Norway and Iceland.

The European Commission through the Consumer Protection Network has carried out a joint internet sweep between the 11th and 15th May, 2009.
