The theme chosen for this Pre-Budget Document is Upgrading Malta’s Infrastructure’
During these last four years, Malta has experienced unprecedented economic growth rates, falling unemployment, low inflation and above all a budget surplus.
In this budget the experiences of a prosperous economy will become increasingly connected to improving quality of life. A prosperous economy deserves high quality infrastructure of technology, roads and housing as well as investment in high quality education and high quality health care that complement and contribute to continuing economic success.
This aim is laid out in the Pre-Budget document (available here​​)​. As part of the Pre-Budget 2018 Consultation process, the Government invites you to submit your feedback, thoughts, observations, and suggestions for the forthcoming Budget.
